This project is a study of the adverse impacts of lobster fishing on the environment of the Florida Keys.  Traps get lost in storms or broken by boaters, and the synthetic materials used in current lobster traps often end up tangling and choking the mangroves on the shores of the Keys.  I hope to raise awareness to foster a change in materials used or fishing methods.
